I don't make resolutions. Well, not really.
Not any more than when I say, "I'm going to do something awesome today." (Which is most days.)
So- to switch it up, to keep art thinking continuing and image making constant, I have designed myself a project to keep me on it. In the year 2013, I will post one picture a day. The picture will be taken and posted in the same day. It make be monotonous, it may be cool, no guarantees either way. These pictures will be taken with my iPhone.
I am interested in the power of the snapshot, as not being an artistic masterpiece, but what we refer back to for reminding us of what has happened. {365} will be a memory bank of my life in 2013, to some extent. I have been cautious of making art so personal, but as an artist, we are always making it personal. Now there will just be concrete evidence it is all about me.
